This wedding was beautiful! Skies perfect for flying, and we were right there at the Spicewood Airport. It was such a unique experience, and so unusual as far as wedding venues go. I wanted to capture the sky with all of those amazing clouds, and highlight something that's such a big part of this couple's lives.
Justin is a pilot, and they held their wedding at his parents' airplane hangar. They did the entire wedding themselves, without a wedding planner. Decorations were put up in the hangar, and we even got some pictures with the plane itself. Some of my favorite pictures of the day involve the airplane and the wind sock, alongside that beautiful sky.
They held a great reception with music honoring Orianna's South American heritage. And they were able to enjoy the entire reception from the start to the finish. They decided to go with a First Look session before the ceremony.
One of the things I always offer to my brides and grooms is that First Look session. Orianna and Justin did one, and we were able to take all of our official wedding portraits before the wedding even started. The photo session didn't feel rushed, and we took our time and got the best photos for Orianna and Justin to remember this special day.
